बेळगाव लाईव्ह : एखाद्या गावाचं नाव मोठं होतं ते त्या गावातल्या माणसांच्या कर्तृत्वावर! बेळगावातील अशा कर्तृत्ववान व्यक्तींनी देश विदेशात आपल्या बेळगावचा झेंडा रोवला. त्यांच्या कार्याची ‘बेळगाव लाईव्ह’ने घेतलेली दखल म्हणजेच ‘समुद्रापार बेळगाव’! बेळगावच्या जनतेने सातासमुद्रापार आपल्या प्रगतीचे झेंडे रोवले आहेत. विविध क्षेत्रात उत्तम कामगिरी करून बेळगाववासीयांनी बेळगावच्या शिरपेचात मानाचा तुरा रोवला आहे. शैक्षणिक, क्रीडा, साहित्य, संस्कृती, वैद्यकीय, तंत्रज्ञान, फॅशन यासह अनेक क्षेत्रात कामगिरी बजावून आपल्यासह बेळगावचे नावही उंचावले आहे. अशा हजारो जणांपैकी एक असलेले म्हणजेच अभय सुनील नाईक.
मूळचे रामलिंगखिंड गल्ली आणि सध्या पाईपलाईन रोड, सरस्वती नगर येथे वास्तव्यास असणारे अभय नाईक यांनी अलीकडेच युनायटेड किंगडम येथे नोकरीसाठी प्रयाण केले आहे. सध्या ते वेम्बली, लंडन, इंग्लंड, युनायटेड किंगडम येथे हेक्ससेल लिमिटेड येथे सिनियर फ्रंटएन्ड डेव्हलपर म्हणून कार्यरत आहेत. महिला विद्यालय इंग्लिश मिडीयम मध्ये शालेय शिक्षण आणि त्यानंतर जीएसएस महाविद्यालयात विज्ञान शाखेची पदवी, केएलएस गोगटे इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी मधून एमसीए पूर्ण करून सुरुवातीच्या काळात पर्सिस्टंट सिस्टम्स, बेंगलोर येथे त्यांनी काम पाहिले. २०१६ साली देखील त्यांनी जर्मनी येथे काम करण्याची इच्छा मनात ठेवून प्रयत्न केले परंतु काही कारणास्तव हि संधी हुकली आणि २०२३ साली त्यांनी परदेशात जाण्याचे स्वप्न पूर्ण केले. सर्वसामान्य मराठी कुटुंबातील असलेले अभय नाईक यांचे वडील सुनील मनोहर नाईक आणि आई सरिता सुनील नाईक हे कित्येक वर्षांपासून कपड्यांचा छोटेखानी व्यवसाय सांभाळतात. आपल्या मुलांनी उत्तुंग यश मिळवावे यासाठी आईवडिलांनी आपल्याला प्रचंड पाठबळ दिले यामुळेच मी परदेशात काम करण्याचे स्वप्न पूर्ण करू शकलो असे अभय नाईक सांगतात. इच्छा, स्वप्न पूर्ण करायचे असेल तर हिम्मत आणि जिद्द कधीच सोडू नका हे आपल्या पालकांनी आपल्याला शिकविले. आपल्या या यशात पालकांचा आधारस्तंभ आणि त्यांच्या परिश्रम हे माझ्यासाठी प्रेरणा ठरले. आपल्या या यशात आपल्या शाळेतील, महाविद्यालयातील शिक्षकांचे देखील मोठे सहकार्य मिळाले. आपण परदेशात जाऊन काम करावं यासाठी पत्नी पूजा नाईक हिनेही आपल्याला साथ दिली आणि पत्नीसमवेतच लंडनमध्ये सध्या ते कार्यरत आहेत.
आपली स्वप्ने पूर्ण करण्यासाठी प्रत्येकाने प्रामाणिकपणे कार्य करणे आवश्यक असल्याचे त्यांचे मत आहे. आपली मातृभूमी सोडून परदेशात येणे सोपे नव्हते आणि अशक्यही नव्हते, हीच बाब लक्षात घेऊन आपलं स्वप्न पूर्ण करण्याचा निर्णय आणि निर्धार निश्चित करून लिंक्ड-इन च्या माध्यमातून आपण नोकरीसाठी अर्ज केला. निवड होणे हि सोपी गोष्ट नव्हती. मात्र २ महिन्यांहून अधिक काळ झालेल्या मुलाखतीत कौशल्य, व्यक्तिमत्व आणि भाषा अशा गोष्टी तपासून अखेर नोकरी निश्चित झाली.
‘समुद्रापार बेळगाव’ अंतर्गत ‘बेळगाव लाईव्ह’शी बोलताना अभय नाईक यांनी, आपल्यासारख्या तरुणांना मोलाचा सल्ला दिला आहे. आयुष्यात पुढे जाण्याचा, प्रगती करण्याचा विचार करणाऱ्या प्रत्येकाने आपल्या स्वप्नांचा पाठलाग करणे कधीही थांबवू नये. आपल्या स्वप्नांच्या दिशेने, स्वप्नांच्या मागे तळमळीने पाठलाग करावा. केवळ परिणामांचा विचार करून स्वप्नं पाहू नयेत तर प्रामाणिकपणाने आपले काम करावे, याचे फळ निश्चित आपल्याला मिळतेच असे मत त्यांनी व्यक्त केले. सातासमुद्रापार बेळगावचे नाव उंचावणाऱ्या अभय नाईक यांना पुढील वाटचालीसाठी ‘बेळगाव लाईव्ह’च्या खूप खूप शुभेच्छा!

One amongst many such achievers & enterprising individuals from Belgaum is Mr. Abhay Sunil Naik.
Abhay Naik, originally a resident of Ramalingkhind Galli, Belgaum, and currently residing at Pipeline Road, Saraswati Nagar, Belgaum, has recently left for a job in the United Kingdom. He is currently working as a Senior Front-End Developer at Hexxcell Ltd., in Wembley, London, England, United Kingdom. Schooled in Mahila Vidyalaya English Medium and then Bachelor of Science from GSS College, completed MCA from KLS Gogte Institute of Technology. Earlier on, in his career, he worked at Persistent Systems, Bangalore. In 2016 also he tried to work in Germany but for some reason he missed this opportunity and in 2023 he fulfilled his dream of going abroad. Abhay Naik’s father Sunil Manohar Naik and mother Sarita Sunil Naik, who belong to an ordinary Marathi family, have been running a small clothing business for many years. In the year 2016 also, he tried to go to Germany for a job, but owing to some reason or the other, he missed this opportunity and only in the year 2023 could he fulfill his dream of going abroad.
Abhay Naik’s father Sunil Manohar Naik and his mother Sarita Sunil Naik, who belong to an ordinary Marathi family, have been running a small clothing business for many years. “Only due to the support & blessings from my parents, I could fulfill my dream of working abroad” says Abhay Naik. “My parents taught us to never give up & persue our dreams & wishes with courage and determination. The support of my parents and their hard work became an inspiration for me in this success. Support & co-operation from my school and college teachers was also instrumental in my success”. His wife Pooja Naik also supported him to go and work abroad, and he is currently working in London, along with his wife. He believes that everyone needs to work honestly to full-fill their dreams.
He says “leaving my motherland and coming abroad was not easy and but not impossible also, & so I applied for a job through Linked-In, with an aim and determination to full-fill my dream. Getting selected was not easy & after the interview which was held 2 months before, and after examining the my skills, personality and language, I was hired for the job”.
Abhay Naik while speaking to ‘Belgaum Live’ under ‘Samudrapaar Belgao’, gave some valuable advice to youngsters like him. He says “Anyone who wants to progress in life should never stop chasing their dreams. Pursue your dreams with passion & not worry about the results but should do our work honestly, you will definitely get the results”.
